Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on the LIVE team, you will design and implement live migration features for containerized workloads in Kubernetes, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex distributed systems, and contribute to continuous improvement while working in a remote-first environment.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills in distributed systems and backend development (Go preferred)
• Deep knowledge of low-level Linux internals (process level, networking, filesystems)
• Proficient in debugging, optimization, and performance-tuning
• Experience with IaaS building blocks (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Kubernetes is a huge plus

Responsibilities

• Design and implement live migration features for stateful workloads in Kubernetes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain high availability and reliability
• Document design decisions, processes, and system behaviors
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
