Description

You will lead on-site startup, commissioning, and preventative maintenance of rotary UPS systems, integrating generators and flywheels for data centers, hospitals, and industrial facilities. You'll troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues, train junior technicians, and ensure seamless operation of power systems.

Requirements

• Advanced technical expertise in rotary UPS and mechanical systems
• Hands-on field experience with generators, flywheels, and electrical control systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a scientific approach
• Ability to travel 100% to customer sites
• Experience commissioning complex power systems

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site startup, commissioning, and preventative maintenance of RUPS systems including generator integration
• Perform functional and load bank testing, system synchronization, and validation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with generators, flywheels, switchgear, and control systems
• Provide technical support and training to junior field service technicians
• Complete documentation including test reports, daily reports, and field trip reports
