You'll define craft standards and coach the animation team for an unpublished R&D product at Riot Games. You will own player-facing animation systems from early ideation to final release, ensuring responsive gameplay animation. This role offers the chance to shape animation pipelines and influence cross-discipline collaboration.

  • Drive quality and direction of gameplay animation
  • Own and evolve multiple player-facing animation systems
  • Define animation best practices and workflows
  • Partner with design and engineering on animation systems
  • Mentor and guide animators across the team

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in game or entertainment animation
  • Expert proficiency in Maya
  • Extensive experience with Unreal Engine
  • Deep understanding of animation systems and state machines
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in English
  • Background in both gameplay and cinematic animation
  • Experience with complex system design and engineering
