💼 About This Role

You'll be a founding member of a new team building AI-powered experiences for Plaid's financial network. You'll lead projects that integrate Plaid with AI providers and scale our AI-powered customer support agents. This role offers a front row seat to define AI+Fintech.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build intuitive, high-quality frontend applications.
• Collaborate with engineers to architect GenAI-powered products.
• Design and execute rapid experiments to assess business impact.

📋 Requirements

• Experience building backend services with microservices architectures.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs including prompt engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning.
• Strong debugging and monitoring experience for production systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience training or serving ML models in production.
• Comfortable operating in privacy/PII-sensitive environments.
