💼 About This Role

You'll be the technical authority for engineering documentation and release of our ocean energy Node, a device designed to generate power and survive decades in harsh ocean conditions. You'll set the standard for complex assembly drawings, especially for large welded steel structures. This role bridges initial design concepts and production-ready releases.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain expert-level use of Siemens NX for structure and mechanical system designs.
• Lead creation of complex assembly drawings, setting organizational standards for clarity and accuracy.
• Own detailed documentation and technical drawings for large-scale, safety-critical welded structures.
• Define and own the engineering release process, ensuring appropriate detail and standards compliance.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of 3D CAD modeling experience with heavy emphasis on Siemens NX.
• Expert knowledge of GD&T and engineering standards like ASME Y14.5.
• Proven track record in documenting large-scale mechanical assemblies and welded steel structures.
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter.
