💼 About This Role

You'll lead technical accounting research and financial reporting for clients, working in a hybrid environment from McLean, VA. You'll collaborate with experienced leaders and mentor team members on complex accounting issues like debt/equity and revenue recognition.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Research complex technical accounting issues (debt/equity, revenue, stock compensation, etc.)
• Prepare technical accounting memorandums documenting conclusions
• Support implementation of technical accounting matters and prepare journal entries
• Prepare external financial statements and footnote disclosures

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant technical accounting and financial reporting experience
• Progressive experience in accounting advisory within public accounting (Big 4 or top-tier)
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting standards
• CPA or CA certification (preferred but required for level)
