You'll monitor and control water treatment facilities for steelmaking coal mines in the Elk Valley. You'll ensure compliance with BC legislation and optimize performance through process adjustments. Health and safety are top priorities in this environmentally focused role.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor and control water treatment facility for performance objectives
• Conduct sampling and coordinate sample delivery to lab
• Perform water chemistry analytical and quality control testing
• Execute start-up, shutdown, and lock-out/tag-out procedures

📋 Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or Sciences
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate
• Strong mechanical understanding of process equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

✨ Nice to Have

• PLC and HMI system experience
• Level I, II, or III Water/Wastewater Treatment certificate
