💼 About This Role

You'll own requirements management and traceability across vehicle development programs, working at the intersection of systems thinking, functional safety, and EV powertrain expertise. Your core impact is ensuring what we build maps to specifications while supporting ISO 26262 compliance. This role involves hands-on work with hardware and software teams and shaping how a growing hardware company develops a novel robotic platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage system and subsystem requirements decomposition and traceability.
• Drive V-model development best practices for safety-critical features.
• Conduct architectural trade studies using first-principles analysis.
• Manage ISO 26262 compliance and safety requirements for HV systems.

📋 Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in systems engineering in automotive/robotics/aerospace.
• Hands-on with requirements management tools like DOORS, Polarion, or Jama.
• Working knowledge of V-model development and requirements traceability.
• Technical understanding of EV powertrain systems including HV batteries and inverters.

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in high-voltage battery systems or BMS development.
• Exposure to FMEA, FTA, or other structured safety analysis methods.
• Knowledge of J1939 or other heavy-duty vehicle communication protocols.
