Description

As Director of Product Design for Search & Discovery, you will own the design strategy and execution for Coupang's search experience, working with product owners, engineers, and data scientists to turn complex problems into simple, elegant UX solutions that drive business impact.

Requirements

• 10+ years designing intuitive UI for ecommerce or consumer mobile apps on iOS and Android.
• Portfolio demonstrating thoughtful process and execution of related projects.
• Proficiency in Figma for mock-ups, prototypes, design guides, and presentations.
• Experience collaborating with product owners and engineers to define customer and business needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive user experience strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Provide strategic UX direction for the Search domain, ensuring consistency across platforms.
• Lead and mentor a team of UX/UI designers, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Conduct user research (usability testing, surveys, interviews) to gather customer insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UX enhancements and prioritize features.
