Description

You will lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers, acting as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure quality requirements for procured parts and processes are consistently met. You'll drive continuous improvement, implement robust quality systems, and reduce risk and cost for Rocket Lab.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a quality role in regulated industries (Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, Industrial)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Mechatronic Engineering or related
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in root cause analysis tools (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams)
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage supplier relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead high-performing teams to drive accountability and exceptional results
• Develop and implement supplier quality systems and processes
• Monitor supplier performance using metrics and drive accountability
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances
• Act as a bridge between suppliers, internal teams, and senior management
