💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team building high-temperature superconducting magnets for fusion energy systems. You'll ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met through continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. This role offers the chance to work on world-first fusion technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Hire, lead, and train a team of technicians and welders
• Develop and qualify new manufacturing techniques and processes
• Perform production builds according to procedures and test instructions
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing discrepancies for continuous improvement

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years in a formal leadership role in manufacturing
• 6+ years of technical skills in mechanical/electrical assembly, plumbing, vacuum systems, etc.
• Commitment to safety and quality with team communication

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma
• Experience with winding equipment
