💼 About This Role

You'll assist the Maintenance Team in providing high-level mechanical expertise to minimize downtime at a poultry processing plant. Your work ensures equipment reliability while adhering to safety and quality guidelines.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform mechanical repairs and installations on production equipment
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks and inspections
• Diagnose faults and repair bearings, seals, motors, pumps, gearboxes
• Use power tools to build and repair equipment components

📋 Requirements

• Trade certification in millwright, industrial mechanic, or power engineer
• 1-3 years of related mechanical experience
• Grade 12 education
• Ability to perform overtime, weekend, and on-call work

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in a food processing plant
• Experience with live animal handling
• CMMS experience
