💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers at a mission-driven GovTech startup, building and deploying production solutions for government and utility clients. You'll own customer engagements end-to-end, turning ambiguous problems into scalable, real-world impact. This role combines hands-on engineering with team leadership, working directly with stakeholders in high-stakes environments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers
• Own customer engagements from scoping to production
• Write backend code, debug APIs, and configure workflows
• Balance speed with judgment for scrappy v1 vs. long-term foundations

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of production engineering experience
• Strong backend and systems fundamentals
• Comfortable with customer-facing technical interactions
• US citizen or permanent resident required
