💼 About This Role

You'll build trusting relationships with infants and toddlers in a mixed-age setting, providing comfort and security. You'll collaborate with co-teachers to implement emergent curriculum and tend to children's physical, social, and cognitive needs. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a small, private facility for children of faculty at Riverdale Country School.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Care for children ages 3-35 months, including diapering and feeding
• Organize and lead developmentally appropriate activities
• Supervise nap time, playground, and neighborhood walks
• Communicate daily with parents and colleagues about children's needs

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma and some coursework in Early Childhood Education
• Experience with infants and toddlers in a group setting
• Up-to-date physical exam and vaccination record
• Successful background and fingerprint checks

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
