💼 About This Role

You'll carry out ultrasonic inspections on austenitic steel weldments for the SPARC fusion project. Your work will directly support the manufacturing of fusion power plant components. This role offers the chance to contribute to a world-changing energy solution.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform phased array ultrasonic inspections on austenitic steel weldments
• Prepare NDT techniques and assist in R&D UT examination efforts
• Document detailed inspection reports and nonconformances
• Interface with technicians on quality issues and interpret specifications

📋 Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Level 2 Certification in UT or UTPA IAW ASNT SNT-TC-1A or ISO 9712
• 80 hours ultrasonic Level 1 & 2 training and 80 hours PAUT training
• 3+ years experience inspecting steel welds using ultrasonic techniques

✨ Nice to Have

• Performance Demonstration Qualification for UTPA
• Experience in power, petrochemical, or aerospace industries
• Additional NDT certifications
