You'll lead the Alloy team at Grafana Labs, managing engineers building a distribution of the OpenTelemetry collector integrated into Grafana Cloud. Your impact will shape developer productivity and observability experiences for thousands of companies including Bloomberg and JPMC. This remote role offers access to frontier AI coding tools and a global, collaborative culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage and develop the Alloy engineering team, providing regular feedback.
• Support the team's collaboration with the OpenTelemetry collector community.
• Partner with go-to-market to ensure customer success with Alloy.
• Work with product and engineering leadership for seamless integration.

• Domain knowledge in observability and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience managing teams with autonomy in technical decisions.
