You will bring SoFi's educational content to life across social platforms by transforming newsletters, articles, videos, and podcasts into engaging, social-first formats like short-form video and carousels. Your goal is to build trust, expand reach, and deepen engagement with the audience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience owning social content creation end to end for a brand or media company.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video, on-screen text/graphics, and copywriting across platforms.
• Journalistic instinct: curiosity, rigor, objectivity, and ability to explain complex topics simply.
• Comfort on camera serving as a recognizable voice for educational content.
• Deep familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and their performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Concept and produce social content (video, graphics, carousels, post copy) inspired by educational articles, newsletters, podcasts, and videos.
• Translate complex financial topics into clear, engaging, platform-native storytelling.
• Collaborate with editors, designers, and strategists while maintaining creative ownership.
• Research unfamiliar financial topics and quickly build working expertise.
• Partner with Social and Community teams to implement a social strategy focused on amplifying educational content.
