You will ensure all services are accurately entered into the billing system and submitted to insurance payers for timely reimbursement. Your attention to detail and data analysis skills will help identify root causes of billing errors and improve overall reimbursement, supporting our mission to expand access to behavioral health treatment.

Requirements

• 3+ years charge entry and billing experience, preferably in behavioral health
• Strict attention to detail
• Knowledge of payer-specific billing requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10

Responsibilities

• Enter patient demographics, insurance info, and charges into billing system accurately
• Identify and resolve account errors, claim rejections, and system issues
• Identify trends and root causes of inaccurate billing and report to leadership
• Collaborate across teams to minimize errors and increase clean claims percentages
• Reconcile billing reports and audit submitted claims for potential errors
