Description

Work on a real, meaningful project that will ship to production, tackling challenges across Stripe's stack and impacting global commerce. You will collaborate with engineers, give and receive code review feedback, and grow through dedicated mentorship.

Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in CS, math, or related field
• Experience with programming (side projects or classwork); familiarity with Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, or Go preferred
• Previous internship or multi-person project experience demonstrating ability to receive feedback
• Ability to learn unfamiliar systems through independent research and collaboration
• At least 2 years of university education (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Write production software that has meaningful impact on Stripe
• Give and receive technical feedback through code reviews and design discussions
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate feedback
• Learn quickly by asking questions and working effectively with intern manager and teammates
• Communicate status of work clearly
