Description

You will apply your deep knowledge of human visual perception to optimize augmented reality experiences, inform hardware design, and develop new models of low-level vision. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define performance requirements and make a direct impact on cutting-edge AR products.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience in Human Vision Science
• Deep knowledge of human visual perception, especially low-level vision models
• Experience planning and conducting psychophysical studies
• Ability to perform literature reviews in Vision Science for XR
• Experience with statistical analysis of experimental data

Responsibilities

• Develop models of temporal/spatial vision for AR displays and verify with empirical data
• Plan and conduct psychophysical studies with human observers
• Characterize, model, and analyze novel display technology performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to bridge communication gaps and clarify requirements
• Perform statistical analyses of experimental and sensor data
