Description

You will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations, develop safety programs, conduct audits, and manage hazardous waste to support SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years experience in environmental, health, and safety disciplines
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations
• Experience with machine guarding and industrial hygiene programs
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR requirement)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, EPA, and other regulations
• Collaborate with leadership on job hazard assessments and safety policies
• Monitor employee exposure to physical and chemical hazards
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and preventive measures
