💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Verification and Validation (V&V) efforts for the Perception subsystem of Motional's autonomy stack. Your work will be critical to closing the safety case for driverless commercial launch. This role offers the chance to shape test strategies and collaborate across engineering teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Influence requirements from perspective of problem understanding and covariate coverage
• Establish problem taxonomies and identify critical performance covariates
• Create actionable test plans involving a spectrum of test modalities
• Act as bridge between Perception and Systems Readiness & Performance organization

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field
• Experience leading V&V for a safety-critical product
• V&V experience specifically with a self-driving vehicle
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, database queries, and automation
