Description

You will lead US payroll compliance efforts across multiple entities and product lines, including PEO and internal operations. You'll build automated payroll processes, conduct audits, and guide the payroll team through complex regulations, working closely with product, ops, legal, and finance teams to embed compliance into the company's workflows.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of US payroll compliance (federal/multi-state taxation, wage/hour laws, tax/benefits reporting)
• Proven experience managing US payroll operations or compliance in multi-entity environment
• Experience with PEO/EOR models strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of audit processes, system controls, and regulatory reporting
• Experience leading automation and process improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for US payroll compliance (federal, state, local wage/tax regulations)
• Lead internal payroll compliance audits and oversee issue resolution
• Support design/implementation of automated payroll processes and system controls
• Partner with Payroll Ops, Product, Tax, Legal to ensure compliant workflows
• Monitor legislative changes and ensure operational and product updates
