You'll manage PostgreSQL databases on AWS RDS and Aurora for a leading human risk management platform. You'll tune performance and assist developers in optimizing SQL and database design. Your work will help protect thousands of organizations from cyber threats.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Administer and monitor PostgreSQL databases on AWS RDS and Aurora
• Perform backup validation, replication checks, patching, and upgrades
• Optimize SQL queries and database objects with development teams
• Set up performance metrics and alerts using CloudWatch and pg_stat_statements

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on PostgreSQL in production
• Experience with Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL provisioning and failover
• Proficiency in SQL optimization and query planning
• Experience with AWS services like Lambda and S3 integration

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of CI/CD for databases (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Experience with database code reviews and schema version control
