Description

You will remotely manage data center infrastructure to ensure maximum availability, oversee managed service providers, and own projects from planning to completion. Your work powers Jump Trading's global low-latency trading and high-performance computing environments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years onsite Data Center experience
• Understanding of data center infrastructure (electrical/power, cooling, mechanicals, safety)
• Knowledge of cabling standards/media types and installation best practices
• Hardware repair experience (servers, network devices, storage devices)
• Linux command line experience for system troubleshooting and scripting

Responsibilities

• Remotely manage data center infrastructure (power, cooling, hardware, cabling)
• Perform requirements gathering and planning for new hardware installs
• Oversee Datacenter Managed Services providers and onsite technicians
• Develop and maintain data center standards and documentation
• Perform capacity planning (space, cooling, power, cabling)
