You'll assess commercial credit applications for Australian SMEs, using financial statements and bank data to determine creditworthiness. Your insights will shape great customer outcomes while managing risk effectively. You'll join a collaborative team at Shift, a market-leading fintech.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Assess commercial credit applications by analysing financial statements and bank data
• Conduct phone interviews with applicants and brokers to negotiate loan criteria
• Provide quantitative credit assessments and recommend lending limits
• Maintain detailed records of risk factors and mitigation strategies

📋 Requirements

• Delegated Lending Authority for commercial/business lending
• 2-5 years experience in commercial credit analysis
• Strong business acumen and understanding of the SME market
• Experience assessing credit using financial statements and bank statements

• Experience with non-traditional data sources
• Experience in risk or analytics roles
• Experience with finance products in point-of-sale environments
