💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and Maestro for a major enterprise client. You'll embed automated testing and AI-assisted workflows into the delivery lifecycle across mobile, web, and platform teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to define test strategy and safeguard reliability for Australia's well-known brands.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain automated test suites using Playwright (web) and Maestro (mobile).
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted testing practices with GenAI tools.
• Own full testing lifecycle across iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
• Contribute testing estimates and embed automation effort within sprint planning.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Software Tester / QA Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Strong hands-on experience with Maestro for native mobile automation.
• Experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with BDD and writing acceptance criteria using Gherkin.
• Prior experience in a software consulting environment.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST-assured).
