πΌ About This Role
You'll join the Neutron team to build a new medium-lift reusable rocket. You'll receive engineering drawings and figure out how to build complex assemblies, creating custom tooling and solving technical challenges in real-time. This development role is ideal for those who want to engineer solutions before processes become standardized.
π― What You'll Do
- Interpret engineering drawings and determine build strategies
- Construct large-scale structural components (drilling, riveting, precision work)
- Fabricate custom tooling and fixtures using manual machining
- Perform extended hours during critical build/test phases
- Travel regularly to US facilities for integration and testing support
π Requirements
- Strong mechanical assembly background (nuts/bolts fundamentals)
- Proven hands-on technical skills in mechanical systems
- Ability to work autonomously and think critically through build challenges
β¨ Nice to Have
- Machining experience (lathe/mill operation)
- TIG welding skills
- Structural assembly background (large-scale drilling/riveting on aviation)
