💼 About This Role

You'll join Astranis to characterize radiation environments for satellite missions and validate parts for aerospace radiation through hands-on testing and analysis. Your core impact will ensure fault-tolerant electrical systems operate reliably in GTO and GEO orbits.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design fault tolerant electrical systems for radiation environments
• Simulate and model GTO and GEO radiation environments
• Coordinate and run radiation testing campaigns to upscreen components
• Work with structures team to determine shielding levels across spacecraft

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent
• Experience with Geostationary radiation environment (TID, SEE, DDD)
• Experience designing for and testing for radiation effects
• Experience testing analog and digital circuits

• Electromechanical design experience
• Experience running tests at radiation labs
• Experience designing dosimeter circuits
