You will provide practical legal advice and negotiate complex technology agreements including SaaS, software licensing, and cloud services for top tech companies. Work with a global leader in on-demand legal talent.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in software licensing, SaaS, cloud services, and technology transactions
• Strong understanding of intellectual property, data privacy, and commercial contract principles
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology agreements (SaaS, software licensing, cloud, API integration)
• Advise on technology development, data usage, cybersecurity, and IP ownership
• Support procurement and vendor management with contract risk assessment and compliance
• Develop standard contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation strategies
• Ensure regulatory and data privacy compliance (PIPEDA)
