💼 About This Role

You'll own thermal management system design for a supersonic aircraft at Astro Mechanica, a vertically integrated aerospace startup. You'll balance system function against adjacent impacts, using first principles to navigate uncertainty.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Generate CAD models and detailed engineering drawings with GD&T
• Architect thermal systems and develop 1-D fluid network models
• Design and size fluid system components (pumps, heat exchangers, valves)
• Analyze heat loads, conduction paths, and interface temperatures

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on experience in propulsion or thermal environments
• Proficiency in CAD modeling (Siemens NX) and GD&T
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid behavior
• Experience with CFD and 1D network modeling tools
