💼 About This Role

You'll author and analyze technical requirements for camera and inertial navigation systems (INS) sensors, working with automotive suppliers and stakeholders. Your work will ensure sensor components meet functional safety and performance goals through rigorous testing and validation. Autonomous trucking and a hands-on, collaborative environment make this role stand out.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Author and maintain hardware requirements using DOORS and Jama.
  • Develop camera and INS components meeting functional safety and security standards.
  • Partner with automotive Tier-1 suppliers to remove technical blockers.
  • Design and execute test plans for lab-based and field validation.

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering and 4+ years experience, or Master's and 2-4 years.
  • Experience with camera and INS sensor modalities.
  • Proficiency with Requirements Management Tools (DOORS, Jama).
  • Understanding of automotive ECUs, data buses (CAN, PCIe, Ethernet), and lab equipment.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Automotive OEM/Tier-1 supplier experience.
  • Experience with ISO 26262, ASPICE, or autonomous vehicles.
  • Knowledge of Python, C, C++, or Linux.
