💼 About This Role

You'll join the Payins team within Airbnb's Payments org, building technology that powers the guest payment experience. Your work will directly impact massive daily transaction volume and enable features like Reserve Now Pay Later. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to ship high-impact launches that drive conversion and payment economics.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Contribute to cross-team initiatives driving measurable impact on conversion and payment economics
• Work with Product and Design to triage, scope, and evaluate feature feasibility
• Contribute to quality initiatives reducing defect rates and improving incident detection
• Be a collaborative teammate elevating the engineering organization

📋 Requirements

• 3-5+ years of software development experience
• Proficient in Java, Scala, Ruby on Rails, or Python
• Experience with architectural patterns for high-scale distributed web applications
• Passion for delivering products end-to-end from ideation to A/B testing

✨ Nice to Have

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with payment systems or fintech
• Data-driven decision-making skills
