💼 About This Role

You'll join Veracyte's Internal Audit team to execute SOX and operational audit procedures, including process walkthroughs and control testing. You'll identify control gaps and recommend practical improvements that strengthen risk management. This role offers exposure to life sciences diagnostics in a purpose-driven environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute SOX and operational audit procedures including process walkthroughs
• Perform risk assessments and identify control gaps or improvement opportunities
• Conduct audit fieldwork and prepare clear workpapers per internal audit standards
• Test business processes and key controls for design and operating effectiveness

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in internal audit or public accounting with SOX exposure
• Working knowledge of SOX, COSO, GAAP, and IIA standards
• At least one professional certification (CIA, CPA, etc.)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or regulated environments
• Experience with audit management tools like Auditboard
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Workday
