Description

You will lead the teams responsible for the core features of Asana's collaborative work platform, reimagining the experience through AI-native workflows. You'll own the technical strategy, build AI-first platform capabilities, and drive engineering excellence to reduce 'work about work' and accelerate human productivity.

Requirements

• 10+ years engineering experience with 5+ years leading teams, shipping high-impact products.
• Deep understanding of collaborative software and distributed systems.
• Passion for AI-native user-centric design using LLMs.
• Strong technical perspective on modern AI stack (OpenAI, Anthropic, or internal ML services).
• Hands-on experience building with AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Core Product/CWM engineering organization to scale complex workflows with AI-driven simplicity.
• Own technical strategy for tasks, projects, portfolios to support LLM-powered features and real-time data.
• Partner with Product and Design to define future of AI-assisted collaboration.
• Build AI-first platform capabilities (APIs, data structures) for intelligent agents and automation.
• Establish best practices for prompt engineering, model integration, and data privacy.
