Description

You will act as the bridge between clinical experts and engineering teams, architecting data models and transformation frameworks that ensure real-world clinical alignment and compliance with global HIT standards like FHIR, HL7v2, CDA, and OMOP.

Requirements

• Clinical degree (MD, DO, RN, PharmD, NP/PA) or equivalent deep experience in Health Informatics
• 5+ years in clinical informatics, data modeling, or interoperability analysis
• Experience with InterSystems IRIS for Health or HealthShare preferred
• Deep knowledge of HL7v2, C-CDA, and FHIR; familiarity with OMOP CDM or openEHR
• Proficiency with LOINC, SNOMED CT, ICD-10, and RxNorm; experience with mapping tools and SQL

Responsibilities

• Manage governance of canonical data model definition aligned with product strategy across diverse clinical domains
• Design and document logic for data transformations between HL7v2, C-CDA, FHIR, X12, OMOP, openEHR
• Analyze implementation guides and regulatory standards to produce technical specifications
• Serve as SME for terminologies (SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CPT, RxNorm) and define concept maps/value sets
• Translate clinical requirements into functional specifications and conduct clinical safety assessments
