You'll be the primary steward of Blockstream's Rust-based Simplicity implementation and associated libraries. Your core impact is maintaining and expanding the Rust libraries, ensuring they work performantly and in sync with the wider Simplicity project. This role stands out for its deep integration with Bitcoin's cryptographic infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Maintain the Rust implementation of Simplicity, expanding coverage and improving CI/QA.
• Provide code reviews and ensure merges have independent signoff.
• Maintain and improve CI pipelines for automated testing.
• Integrate Simplicity into Bitcoin-related projects like Elements and Liquid.

📋 Requirements

• Rust proficiency with 2+ years professional experience.
• Familiarity with Bitcoin or blockchain protocols.
• Strong written communication skills for distributed teamwork.

• Knowledge of formal methods or theorem provers.
