💼 About This Role

You'll design and develop compute applications for Crusoe's virtualized AI-platform. You'll build highly reliable Linux applications to manage virtualization across thousands of servers, and integrate with AI hardware stacks. This role offers exposure to the full stack from kernels to cloud services.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop high-performance Linux applications for virtualization management.
• Integrate Crusoe applications with AI chip-vendor hardware and software stacks.
• Analyze and optimize virtualization stack performance for AI/ML workloads.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues across the virtualization stack.

📋 Requirements

• Experience building applications on Linux kernels with virtualization, drivers, memory management, or scheduling.
• Solid understanding of hardware devices (GPUs, CPUs, NICs, PCI Express).
• Strong grasp of distributed systems design (gRPC, REST, TCP/IP, databases, pub/sub).
• Experience in higher and lower-level languages (Golang, Java, Python and C, C++, Rust).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with virtualization for AI/ML workloads, including GPU virtualization.
• Previous work debugging or contributing to kernel or hypervisor code.
• Experience configuring thousands of live compute nodes in production.
