💼 About This Role

You'll play a critical role in the monthly close and financial reporting process at Sword Health, a company shifting healthcare to an AI-first model. You'll ensure balance sheet integrity and support consolidated reporting in a multi-entity, international environment. This role is a key pillar of the close engine, working closely with the Assistant Controller.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute month-end GL close activities including accruals and adjustments
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform FX remeasurement and related postings
• Assist with group consolidation and variance analysis

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Proven experience in GL close ownership or senior close execution
• Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP
• Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Portuguese Chartered Accountant
• Exposure to group consolidation concepts
• NetSuite experience and advanced Excel skills
