πΌ About This Role
You'll validate satellite survivability for launch and LEO by planning and executing environmental test campaigns. You'll work with systems, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure mission readiness. This role offers hands-on experience with TVAC, vibration, and shock testing in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
π― What You'll Do
- Perform thermal vacuum, vibration, and shock testing on satellites and components.
- Coordinate logistics and scheduling with engineering teams and external facilities.
- Support test instrumentation setup including thermocouples and accelerometers.
- Analyze test data and provide feedback to design and manufacturing groups.
π Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on environmental testing of aerospace/defense systems.
- Working knowledge of NASA GEVS or MIL-STD-810 standards.
- Proficiency with TVAC chambers and vibration tables.
β¨ Nice to Have
- Direct experience testing satellites or spacecraft.
- Knowledge of aerospace materials behavior in vacuum and thermal environments.
