You'll join a cross-functional team building scalable backend services for Remote's HR and Payroll platform. Your work will directly enable global employment compliance for companies of all sizes. You'll have the opportunity to redesign workflows using autonomous agents to deliver faster outcomes.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead development of major team-scoped projects
• Provide feedback on code reviews and contribute to shared codebase
• Debug and resolve technical and business issues
• Mentor and guide other engineers

📋 Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals with production systems experience
• Practical experience designing agentic/automation workflows
• Proficiency in Postgres or similar database
• Experience with CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar)

• Experience with functional programming languages (Elixir, Erlang, Scala, Clojure, Haskell)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS
• Experience with Next.js, React, Vue, or Angular
