Description
You will lead teams responsible for the design and reliability of Starlink satellites and ground stations. This includes managing PCB librarians and the EEE Components team, overseeing reliability qualifications, and driving failure analysis to ensure high-reliability hardware.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
- 5+ years in semiconductor and/or PCBA hardware reliability engineering
- 3+ years predictive modeling experience
- Experience leading or mentoring a team
- Familiarity with IPC and JEDEC reliability specifications
Responsibilities
- Provide team leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance for Hardware and EEE Parts Reliability group
- Guide EEE component reviews and reliability campaigns, and oversee failure analysis for mitigation
- Execute reliability modeling and risk assessments for EEE component issues
- Interface with manufacturing and design engineers to understand component usage in application
- Assist in developing qualification strategies and ensure project closure and approval
