You'll lead the research function at a venture-backed startup solving the data bottleneck in robotics. You will train end-to-end manipulation policies and design evaluation frameworks to bridge real-world data and model performance. This hands-on role offers significant equity and the chance to build a research stack from zero.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Train real-world robot manipulation policies using imitation learning or diffusion policies.
• Build end-to-end data-to-policy validation pipeline for tactile and interaction data.
• Define research roadmap and iterate on data collection methods with hardware and software teams.

📋 Requirements

• PhD in robotics or equivalent research experience.
• Proven track record training manipulation policies on physical hardware.
• Experience with dexterous manipulation or tactile sensing.
• Strong desire to work in an early-stage hands-on IC role.
