Description

You will design and build a new Content Delivery Network (CDN) for Starlink, working on scalable distributed systems that serve billions of users worldwide. You'll own the full lifecycle from architecture to deployment, optimizing hardware utilization and shaping traffic across multiple CDNs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or 7+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience in C, C++, or Rust
• 3+ years of professional distributed systems or CDN experience
• 3+ years of professional networking experience

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale a new Content Delivery Network (CDN) for Starlink
• Build robust, responsive, and scalable distributed systems
• Build tools, visibility, and alerting to operate and maintain complex systems in real-time
• Design algorithms to optimize hardware utilization and cost efficiency
• Implement systems to shape traffic across multiple CDNs
