๐ผ About This Role
You'll support the HR team at a steelmaking coal mining operation with policy administration, benefits and compensation tasks, and new hire orientation. You'll collaborate on research and reporting to improve HR processes while gaining hands-on experience in a mining environment.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Participate in health and safety programs and policies
- Contribute to HR policies, salary/benefits administration, and performance management
- Assist with planning and executing new hire orientation and company events
- Complete administrative duties such as preparing communications and filing documentation
๐ Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with HR concentration
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License without learner restrictions
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Motivated self-starter able to prioritize under pressure and maintain confidentiality
