๐Ÿ’ผ About This Role

You'll support the HR team at a steelmaking coal mining operation with policy administration, benefits and compensation tasks, and new hire orientation. You'll collaborate on research and reporting to improve HR processes while gaining hands-on experience in a mining environment.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Participate in health and safety programs and policies
  • Contribute to HR policies, salary/benefits administration, and performance management
  • Assist with planning and executing new hire orientation and company events
  • Complete administrative duties such as preparing communications and filing documentation

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with HR concentration
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License without learner restrictions
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Motivated self-starter able to prioritize under pressure and maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to multidisciplinary teams
