Description

You will lead external reporting and technical accounting at Nava, a public benefit corporation improving government services. You'll ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, manage audits, develop accounting policies, and collaborate with FP&A to support a fast-growing firm. Your work will directly impact our mission of making government services simple and effective.

Requirements

• Strong U.S. GAAP expertise and attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex financial results into clear reporting
• Experience with external audit management
• Proven operator with scalable technology-enabled process setup
• Customer-centric approach and industry understanding

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and compliance reports
• Develop automated accounting processes with control framework
• Serve as primary audit contact for financial reporting and technical accounting
• Research and interpret complex U.S. GAAP standards, prepare technical memos
• Lead development and maintenance of corporate accounting policies
