Description

In this role, you will lead a gas turbine OEM team driving design-to-build innovation for small gas turbine parts, from concept to hardware. You will own a diverse array of components, rapidly iterate designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver flight-worthy hardware in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 5-12 years hands-on experience in additive manufacturing and engineering of gas turbine components
• Expertise in manufacturability of hot structures, turbine frames, combustors, exhausts, or compressor cases
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• U.S. Citizen; able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
• Proficiency in CAD like Siemens NX and Teamcenter

Responsibilities

• Own small gas turbine components from design through delivered hardware
• Rapidly iterate designs, closing the loop of design, build, and test
• Lead rapid build cycles: print→machine→inspect→build→learn
• Select and manage non-traditional suppliers across AM and post processes
• Partner with design, analysis, test, and manufacturing teams to deliver flight-worthy hardware
