💼 About This Role

You'll join WAGI's gastroenterology team as an ARNP or PA-C, providing autonomous care to patients with acute and chronic GI conditions. You'll conduct assessments, prescribe medications, and collaborate with physicians. This role offers infusion clinic coverage and clinical research opportunities.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage a caseload of patients autonomously in gastroenterology practice.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and pre-procedure workups.
• Prescribe medications per Washington State prescriptive authority.
• Provide infusion clinic and inpatient hospital coverage as needed.

📋 Requirements

• Current WA State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
• DEA prescriptive authority.
• Current BLS certification.
• Extensive knowledge of physical assessment and management of acute/chronic GI problems.

🚩 Heads Up

• Duty includes infusion clinic coverage and inpatient hospital coverage, which may be broad for an APP role.
• Requires ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day, potentially demanding physically.
