You'll assist optometrists in delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience by performing initial testing with optical equipment. You'll build patient relationships while ensuring efficient, urgent care. Training provided for this entry-level clinical role.
π― What You'll Do
- Operate lensometer, autorefractor, retinal camera, visual field, GDX or OCT
- Perform initial patient testing using optical equipment
- Follow scripting for photos, visual fields, visual activity tests
- Clean examination equipment and maintain clinical environment
π Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year interacting with customers/patients
- Favorable background check as required by state
- Ability to provide proof of identity and right to work in the US
β¨ Nice to Have
- Previous medical office experience preferred
- Previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
