Description

You will serve as a strategic finance partner to executive leadership and practice leads, driving profitability and financial discipline across client portfolios. You'll oversee revenue recognition, margin performance, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in a fast-paced PR agency environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• 8–12+ years progressive finance experience in PR, advertising, consulting, or professional services
• Strong FP&A and commercial finance background; understanding of agency economics
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP and reporting tools
• Strategic thinker with execution skills; clear communicator; proactive, hands-on leader

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted finance partner to senior leadership, support pricing, staffing, client mix decisions
• Oversee revenue recognition for retainers, project-based fees, and performance fees
• Monitor utilization, realization, margin; identify scope creep and partner on corrective actions
• Own annual budget, rolling forecast, pipeline-to-projections, and variance analysis
• Manage billing cadence, WIP, AR, collections; optimize payment terms and cash flow
